Saturday October 17th, 2020 from 9:30-2pm.  The Metis Council of Barrie was proud to participate in the opening ceremony of our boardroom and office space at 64 Cedar Pointe Dr., Unit 1401.  A special thank you to the Elder, Little Brown Bear who performed a smudging ceremony of the space and blessed our facility with traditional medicines in the north, south, east and west.  After the ceremony, citizens were invited to pick up Covid PPE and gift cards to support families during this difficult time.

A special thank you to council members who attended this event and to Janette Prisciak for organizing the Covid relief initiative.
