The Barrie Metis Council Youth Camp for 2025 was held from May 30 to June 1st. 

On the Saturday morning youth and their families met in the activity room, and outside, for our planned events. There was beading (earrings and necklaces), wooden antler painting, candle making, a blow up archery set, face painting, a table with Métis artifacts and animals hides/antlers, and our Councillor Samantha Loney had a table for older youth/teens discussing video production & podcasting. MNO staff were also present and did a tie dye event with the youth.

Everyone seemed to have such a great time, and we can't wait for next year's camp!
