On July 7th, 2025, Barrie Metis Council citizens met at Harris Farms in Springwater to do some strawberry picking. 

We had an amazing turn out! The weather stayed nice for the event, and everyone left with a large basket of strawberries. The council is so excited to see all of the things our citizens will make with their berries.
